Middle school track and field athletes finished the school year with successful runs at the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA) State Championship in May.

A Woodland Middle School athlete is inspiring both his teammates and coaches. Despite being visually impaired, eighth grader Luke Specht is making a name for himself while pursuing his passion for wrestling.

A new tradition is underway at Woodland Middle. The school hosted its second annual Warrior Fest September 8 to raise money for the school's PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) program. The event featured dozens of games, activities, food options and more.
