About Us
Woodland Middle School is part of the prestigious Williamson County School District in Middle Tennessee. We are located off of I65, 30 minutes south of Nashville. Woodland Middle is right next door to Crockett Park and has access to more than 164 acres of open fields, facilities and first-class athletic fields. Our middle school houses grades six through eight and provides safe facilities along with an excellent learning environment.

Late Start Day: 8:35 AM – 2:57 PM
Half Day: 7:50 AM – 11:25 AM
Regular office hours for Woodland during the school year are 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM.

2024 - 2025 Late Start Days
Woodland Middle observes Late Start Days once a week during the school year beginning in August and continuing through April. On these days, students report approximately 45 minutes later than their usual start times. During this time, faculty and staff participate in curriculum clusters to discuss course objectives, prepare common assessments of student learning, and attend other professional development sessions.
School buses operate on their regular schedules on Late Start Days. Students who ride the bus or who must arrive at the regular time will be given the opportunity to choose from select supervised activities or a supervised study period until the school day begins. Breakfast is still served in the cafeteria on Late Start Days.

School History
Woodland Middle School is located in historic Brentwood, Tennessee and serves sixth, seventh and eighth graders. Woodland opened in August of 1994. Enrollment for 2024 - 2025 school year is 967 with 90 plus staff members.
